ChildView 2026.1.0 includes the 2026 personal income tax and benefit calculations, and the official 2025 Federal Child Support Tables.
Introducing new tables later in the year can complicate retroactive and arrears calculations, as both the old and new tables are needed to provide an accurate total.
With the ChildView Enhanced 12-Month Child Support Table, this complex presentation is simplified, ensuring your calculations are clear and easy to follow. It calculates the Section 3 table amounts on a per-month basis, so any change in the table amount is reflected automatically in the calculations. It also automatically totals and averages the monthly support based on the months that either have children for calculations or are within the month of separation, and it creates a note to specify which table was used.

This feature, which automatically applies the correct child support table month-by-month, is also available in our multi-year Retroactive/Arrears Child Support Calculator.
🔢 What Makes ChildView the Best Tool for Support Calculations?
When advising clients, legal professionals and mediators are often required to perform two distinct calculations: one for the current and prospective (future) support, and another for the complete retroactive assessment spanning prior months or years. While other software only handle the prospective calculations and attempts to manage retroactivity simply by changing the year, this is entirely inadequate for multi-year or partial-year retroactive and arrears calculations as it forces practitioners to rely on tedious, error-prone manual spreadsheets. The true complexity lies in spanning multiple prior tax years and accounting for mid-year legislative changes, such as the new support tables introduced in October, 2025. New tables may critically complicate retroactive and arrears calculations because accurate totals require blending older, varied rates with the current rates across all affected periods.
With ChildView, you benefit from advanced features and calculation precision that address both time frames, and the assurance of true data control, so you can dedicate your time to your practice, not to calculations.
